THEMWAVES and other visual alchemy from artist Geoff Gibson
For this one, I travelled down the coast to Mahone Bay to work on a back patio mural for a new board game cafe that has just opened. It is a really great space and already feels full of life. The owners are super welcoming and the drinks and cafe treats are honestly amazing.
After that I adjusted the layout and then freehanded the main lines onto the fence. Once that was done it became a colour and clean up process and everything started to come together.
The weather was great and the staff and people around were really kind and supportive. It made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable.
I am looking forward to going back just to spend time in the space, play some board games, and enjoy the food and drinks without a brush in my hand.
